The following information is provided to help you better understand how to care for your leather and fabric furniture. Please read it carefully so you can understand that leather and fabric actually needs care to keep it in good condition and to preserve it so you get the best out of your furniture.
CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER
Today’s leather is produced with safety in mind. No longer are nasty solvents used in the training and finishing of leather. This has led to advanced technology finishes that are designed to give the leather a nice feel and to help you get maximum life from your leather, as long as it is cared for.
Tanneries only guarantee leather for 12 months. Tanning problems will usually surface in that time but, after that, most issues are due to lack of maintenance, which is not guaranteed.
So, to get the best performance from your leather and to maintain its natural characteristics, it is therefore VERY IMPORTANT to care for your leather regularly. Please remember that leather is NOT minimum maintenance. It needs to be cared for.
